Belt creaking

So when I was pushing the bike into the garage I noticed the belt making a creaking noise as it rolled at the front pulley. No clunk or scrape - just a creaking that you also hear if you push down on the belt. This is my first belt driven bike so I was just curious if this is normal or if maybe there is too much belt tension. Any input is appreciated as always.

I think it's normal. Mine has done the same when I have it up on a jack and I roll the wheel. Don't hear any noise when I am rolling down the street.

How many miles on the belt? They should last 30k to 45k miles.

Only 7,700 miles or so on the bike so I doubt that it is worn out. Don't see any signs of wear. Just wanted to see if it was a normal thing or not. Thanks for the input.

Many many times it`s because the wheel is bad aligned or have too much tension.

I need to check alignment and tension soon anyway. I had the tire changed last Sept. - one would assume a shop would know how to align and re-tension the belt. I wouldn't put it past them to have messed it up though. I did notice it didn't do it yesterday morning when I took it out of the garage to take a couple of photos. I was only doing it after I got back from a ride on Friday and the belt had heat in it.

No, no, no... I just meant that it would have been warmed up from the ride. It was not hot to the touch because I was pushing down on it with my fingers to see what the tension was like.
