Nasty scratch on rear fender removing sissy bar.

Hello all,
I removed my "sissy bar" today and managed to gouge my rear fender. Does anyone know of a way to repair our plastic rear fenders?
On a side note, the bottom of the sissy bar is VERY sharp, I barely let it touch the fender. It was enough to put a significant scratch in it, so, be careful when removing it!

Abs

I used black ABS welding cement on a small crack at the end of my rear fender and it has held up for a season and one half.

Yeah I did the same thing I removed mine to take some pics to post on here when someone had a question. Fortunatly not badly and in a spot that is not noticable. Totally will put a towel down next time.

My siamese cat got onto the tank of my sportbike and did a number on it with his nails, i took it to my paint shop and they are going to fix it when it warms up so i can get the bike back to them, 1000 grain sand paper and then they cut it with a commercial grade cut and polish, the scratches are deep in the clearcoat and they assure me that they will come out and be unnoticable, ... new bike, 225 miles on it .... i got my revenge, no [email protected]**s left on the cat ( or maybe it was his revenge??? ).

As i flipped into 5th, i couldnt remember a damn thing she said
