Rattles @ ~2000rpm

I have rattles, sound metallic, at about 2000rpm and when I go over some bumps. I tightened pretty much any nut or bolt I've seen to no avail.

Figured I'd ask here and see if this is a common issue or if I'll have to just live with it. Everything is mechanically sound on it, feels tight on it, so I dunno what's going on.

Thanks,
Matt

Vulcan 900 "oily air filter" fix

Get 3-4 feet of tranny line from parts store that's the same ID as the stock vent line. Attach to jug, route hose up to bottom of fuel tank around wires and back down to airbox, cut off excess (leave a little slack so wires are NOT under tension) and attach to airbox. Reinstall everything.

I remember reading somewhere but can't remember where that these sounds could be the wiring etc in headlight bucket.

rattle

check the tube frame under the back fender. I had this bad rattle I couldn't find and finally while feeling around under there I found the tube framework had broken. Hit the back fender with hand, not too hard, if this is it it should rattle. Easy fix, take off bike and weld framework tube back together. Mine has been fine for the last 2 years since welding.
