Here:

Crusier Customizing is usally a good place to look, and Custom Dynamics usually has good prices also.

Hope it help, and Kuryakyn is also a likely canidate.

Just don't do this to your bike cuz its not an improvement mechanically only aesthetically. There may be an adapter to fix the port blocking hopefully.

Wow

The obstruction is nearly 50 percent, and not even close to symmetrical! Wow. That would be like tuning for sea level and riding at 7000 to 8000 feet or more on one cylinder and a higher altitude on the other (rear), in really thin air.

There is an adapter available. It runs about $100.00. The problem is, it makes the Hypercharger stick out from the bike quite a bit. I came up with a different solution for mine.

I had to modify the Hypercharger back plate, but it only sticks out as far as the stock box.

Thank you for the compliment! The best part about my setup is, it only cost me $50.00 and some of my time. I picked up the Hypercharger off of Ebay with a broken mount tab. I knew it wouldn't be a problem with the modifications I would have to do.

Does that hypercharger performance wise make much of a difference? Or is it about the same as doing a BAK? And it is more of a asthetic thing?

I think I noticed a very tiny bit of a gain over the BAK with the Hypercharger at speeds above 50 MPH. The Hypercharger has a bit of a ram air effect to it. Both work well, it's more of a cosmetic thing.

Hey, I'm in the same boat as you and well I had some questions about the effectiveness of the Hypercharger. A straight Hypercharger will not work without an adapter, below is the answer I received to the question of what will fit and work.

Al,
Below is a list of the part numbers you will need. Your bike is one of
the confusing ones. When installing one of our air kits it is a Type B.
However when you install a Hypercharger it is a Type A. I would
recommend the use of a Power Commander to control your fuel.

Kury Akyn Standard Hypercharger : Part number KA-608446 retails at $169.95
Kaw Vulcan 900 Hypercharger adapter : Part number 40205A retails at $102.95
Power Commander : Part Number T-225-411 retails at $345.95

I hope this helps.

Either I am too stupid to decypher the whole Type A vs. Type B thing or your site is just confusing. So with all of the above information could you please provide the part numbers or whatever I would need to put a Hypercharger on my 09 Vulcan Custom, that would also include whether I would need a chip processor or not to make it all work. Thanks for your time, Al.

As you can see it is most confusing. This is going to be one of my winter projects along with some Hardkrome's.

Good Luck.
