How big of a front tire?

As the title suggests I am thinking about going from a 130 to a 150 tire on the front. I was wondering if anyone has done this or looked into it on their 900 Classic. Wanting to know before I drop $120 on a tire that may or may not fit. Thanks.

First, I do not know the answer to your question. But, I may be able to help you figure it out for yourself. The link below shows information on what tire sizes mean in todays metric system (150/30R15) etc. After you figure out the overall width and height dimensions, then it should be pretty simple to measure the fender to see if it will fit or not. Good luck!
