Did you see what Kelly Blue Book and NADA Blue Book have to say? Look at craigslist in your area for comparos too.

thanks but BB doesn't really have any value for my extras, and I know people say you can't get nothing for your extras, but I have 3 thousand extra parts on my 900 and asking less than a brand new one.

To be honest, you have to find someone who likes the options you have added and is willing to pay your price for them. You might consider returning the bike to stock and sell off the custom parts to regain some of your money back. Hopefully you will find that right person that falls in love with it. There are going to be bikes out there cheaper without the custom parts that you are competing with.

thanks for the info, I was going to list it for 5,700 neg and if I get 5,300 for it I would be happy. I just don't want to trade it in and take a worse beating. NADA says 6,100 retail and 4,800 low retail without alot of my parts.

Back to Stock Configuration.

I am selling my Thruxton, and have returned it to near stock configuration. Leaving parts that are very diffcult / time comsuming to change like cartridge emulator (forks) in place. This was the advice I got from a friend that sells Kawasaki, Honda, KTM, and BMW bikes (for the last 16 years). I will clear more this way (about 1500 to 2000 for the FCR carbs, Exhausts, Ohlin Shocks, steering damper, fork brace, etc), without getting much less (maybe 200 less)for the bike.

Most people don't want to pay for your extras.

I bought my '07 classic this last memorial day for $5999 before title and taxes with 11,500 miles. It came with about $3000 in extras. So with your low mileage and extras you should be able to get more. But it is true unless people are looking for your extras they don't want to pay for them. You might be better selling them off.

Also the saddle bags and rails if you need those to put back on as well. It will help cover some loss that way.

Extras reselling.

I selling my Thruxton aftermarkets parts at 50 to 65 percent of current retail for the same parts. As an example, the FCR carb kit now sells for 950, and I looking for 600, asking 625 and would take high 500s.

With 3000 in extras, parts, not install costs, you should be able to realize about 1500 to as high as 2000.

Selling the bike for 5500 say, and get 1500 for parts is 7000, which you could never hope for my selling the bike with the extras.
