WW tyres for a 2006 900 LT

This is a 2006 900LT, currently running on Bridgestone 130 front and 180 rear, both white walls. Checked few web sites but could not catch the same stuff. Is there any alternative options on WWs. Much happy if the rear is 200. any tips? My riding is mainly in the city traffic for commuting (max 13kms a day and we have rain only for 3-4 days in a year)

reg,

I use Michellin Commander II's on my '07 900 LT. Decent wear, harder tire (not the best for wet cornering) and all black.

WW

I just put on a set of Shinko 777 white walls. Real grippy so they probably won't last as long as some others but according to real world reviews I should get over 7,000 miles out of them. It was hell trying to get all the blue off them but they do look good. I fot the 170/80 rear (a little larger circumference than original) but I also installed the Baron's front pulley at the same time. I got them from the motorcycle-superstore for $87 front and $104 rear and free shipping. Happy so far.

yea, our local forum is having a good review on Shinko tyres. some harley and zx-14 guys are giving good results in terms of grip and lasting. as per them around 10k km which is way better than a dunlop. i already checked in the local dealer and they are getting 170 rear only in the next month. BTW marcwhite do they have a 180 or 200 rear with white walls.

I didn't see 200's but wasn't looking for them either. If you can find the size you want they are a good deal and look good.

I put on the Metzler 200, you get what you pay for. And you will pay for it definitely but it corners great wet and dry, they last and last and last, not sure if they come WW but mines all black.
