Tall and long-legged

I am about 6'4-6'5 and have a 36 inseam. I am very interested in the 900 Custom, as I have heard it is good for taller folks However, some YouTube comments indicates otherwise. Who is the tallest person here, on a VN 900, with the longest inseam, and what is your real experience? I can go sit on them all day, but that will not tell me much. I'm listening!

The Vn900 has a low seat position. Even though the foot pegs are positioned farer up I am not sure it will work for you. Iím 5í10 and I stand flat footed while sitting. My best advice is to go to a dealer and test drive one or at least sit on it.

6' 0", 33" inseam. Drove a 900 custom for 10 yrs. It was a perfect fit for me. I did add a Mustang Wide Vintage seat. That raised me up about 1.5" and forward the same, so leg room was unchanged.

I'm 6'5" and 205 lbs with a 36 inseam. I have an 06 900 classic. I would categorize it as manageable. Not uncomfortable for an hour ride but longer then that I find if my knees were a little lower OR my hips were a little higher I would be more comfortable.

The oem sucks and I replaced mine with a saddleman renegade solo. This made a huge difference as it raised me maybe a half to a full inch but even with the new seat if I'm already stiff some days the position can be annoying but not enough be make me not want to ride. Anything under an hour is not an issue for me.

Overall I like the bike and hope you find something that suits you, be it a 900 or something else

There is a website called " cycle-ergo.com" that will show you how you will fit on various motorcycles. It includes the Vulcan 900 models, as well as other types of bikes. You could try that. I'm 5'9" with a 29 inch inseam, and not much help for this issue.

I've been on the site jbiggers mentioned and I would say the model they show are pretty accurate to what it feels like for me

I am 6'6" and about 275, 34" inseam. I think you should go for an older Vulcan 1500 or 1600 - Plenty of room! I have never been so comfortable on a bike. I picked up a pristine 03 Nomad 1500 FI for $3600. I love it. :-)

I'm 6'1" and have a 900 classic. I and added Mustang Wide Vintage seat and I ride very comfortably. As mentioned above the seat has 1.5" of added height which improved my comfort a ton. I've been on five hour trips with a bum hip and I feel just about the same getting off the bike as I did when I climb on

Other than the stock seat I really like the bike.
