Electrical issue

I have an 08 900C, rode it earlier in the day no issues. Go to start it after work and the fuel pump cycles and I get a single *click*. Checked all fuses and they're all fine. Battery is good. While checking connections, fuses, and such would try and start it, occasionally would have no power at all. I'm thinking starter relay? Anybody have an similar cases?

I think battery. When you say no power at all, this would involve more than a starter relay. You can test this. If you have a voltage meter, apply it across the battery terminals, then turn the key on. If the voltage drops, it's the battery. If it doesn't, then try to start it. If the voltage drops here, then again it's the battery. If the voltage doesn't drop when trying to start it then you need to start looking elsewhere.

I had a similar issue with mine after washing it. Found corrosion build up inside the starter switch.

How old is the battery?
If its 3 years or more, you have a classic bad battery.
Yep they can die just like that with no warning.
As batteries age the voltage can look good and you can charge them and you think that it must be fine, but its the amps, the power the battery has to turn the engine over, that gets depleted and as such cant start you bike.
AS posted above check voltages as you try to start it.

As vulcandoc said, over the years I've had a battery die twice in an auto (but not a bike). One moment the battery was fine, the next moment it was dead. Each time it happened, my thinking was something connection related from cell to cell, had given way and current could no longer go thru. The cells are connected serially, and once an internal connection breaks, the battery is dead.

Cool, glad you found it! Where is this corroded area at? I think maybe I'd like to do a little preventive maintenance...

I took apart the starter switch/kill switch and took the starter button off. Cleaned the contact on the starter button as well as the contact it is supposed to mate with and put it back together
