Throttle lock cruise control

Really missing the cruise control. When on long stretches of the same speed i find myself looking for the cruise control. Anybody found one that works well on the Vulcan 900.

I use one of these universal things and it works great for me. A few friends have picked them up and are liking them so far.

I like my kuryakyn , it solved the long distance ride problem for me , I need/have to drop my throttle hand once in awhile. Here's the link , I also bought the matching bar end weight for the clutch side for a better look .

Like Working Man, I use the Kuryakyn. Its decent, but sometimes using the "pinkie" to tighten the lock can be tricky. I've reached over with my left hand to do this maneuver at times.

Be warned, though, my Custom had handle bar weights inside the bars that had to be dremeled out. I talked about this awhile back...I drilled the weight, tapped it, inserted a bolt, and used a Dremel to cut through the welds around the circumference of the weight (inside the bars)...and pulled them out using the bolt. The weight was around 6" long and solid, IIRC.

I had the Vista Universal lock. Loved it. I had to take it off when added Kuryakyn grips and never replaced it (bought a Vaquero instead).

Vista Cruse Is by far the best, cheapest, and easiest to use.

No its not cheap but I love mine on my Vulcan S. and it looks great . The Vista on my Nomad drifts down more and I can't adjust the friction plus it is more in the way at times.

That which does not kill me tends to really piss me off.

I’m not a fan of cruise control on motorcycles however I do enjoy using a throttle boss when on the highway. It allows me to just keep my hand flat and not cramp my hand by gripping the throttle for long periods of time.
