Loss of power

Loss of power when I try to Accelerate past 1/4 to half throttle! Would this be because of bad fuel pump or plugs or injectors or a combo of all? I’m not really familiar with posting on forums so please forgive me thanks for the help

This issue sounds similar to what was discussed here:

https://www.vulcanforums.com/forums/...-pressure.html

Unfortunately the fuel filter is an integrated part of the fuel pump. If the fuel filter is the issue, you have to replace the entire fuel pump.

Could you include the year, model, cc's, mileage and history in your next post. It would help.

Suggest following sfair's request. His subsequent diagnostic procedure will help to identify the cause and likely save the cost of throwing expensive parts into the situation which may not even resolve the acceleration problem.

07 miles unknown but was told it spent a lot of time outside, idles good just when you go to ride it and open up the throttle past half way it dies . Won’t go over 35 mph now

Have you checked to make sure the battery is strong? I've had a weak battery caused me similar issues.

Gone are the days we stop to decide where we should go, we just ride.

Have you checked the cleanness of the gas tank? Just open the gas cap and pear down in there with a flashlight. This sounds to me like a fuel starvation problem.
