Question oil light

I have a vulcan 900lt after washing it the oil light came on. Before washing everything was normal. Oil level is okay this bike has only 900 miles on it. Is it possible the water afected the light engine sounds normal?

The most common reason the oil light comes "on" is the idle speed is set too low. Does the light go "out" when you increase the rpms?

Started it up this morning and no oil light which makes me think that the pressure washing was the problem some how. It is running normal maybe moisture affected the light.

Pressure washing is not good for engines, cars or bikes. Once water gets in the wrong places there will be a new corrosion path.

It's possible the water pressure turned the idle speed adjuster? Baitis is right, pressure washing a bike is a bad idea. The spray from a normal garden hose is as much water pressure as you should ever put on it.

Don't EVER pressure wash your bike. That pushes water in past seals in your engine, hubs, chain, etc. NOT GOOD.
