PhatRisers II - help with rerouting cables

Put the PhatRiser II's on my 2010 Vulcan 900 Classic LT. Cables are too short/tight.

Need to reroute behind triple tree but don't really want to mess with triple tree.

Saw another post that you could easily reroute behind triple tree by removing headlight/lamp and then feed cables through opening where headlight/lamp was.

Need to know how to remove headlight/lamp. Saw two holes in rim of headlight/lamp but didn't get a close look to see if there are screws in there for removal.

Remove the headlamp ring with a phillips head screwdriver. Those two holes you saw have a screw on the left and right side of the housing that allows you to do this. Then just pull the reflector assembly out. Be careful to make sure that you do not touch the headlight bulb or it could leave oils on the bulb resulting in a malfunction later.

There are three bolts that secure the headlight bucket to the fork assembly, just remove those three bolts and you can also remove the bucket if you need more space.

You'll also need to remove the throttle cables from the throttle sleeve pulley. The hand grip won't go through that opening when you remove the headlight. In fact, if you remove the cables from the throttle sleeve, you may not need to remove the headlight.
