Sissy Bar Spacers

Does anyone know the size of the sissy bar spacers for the backrest? I picked a used one up on ebay, but it did not come with the fender bolts or spacers. I got the bolt size, but could not find a spacer size.

Thanks for any info.

Depends on the manufacturer and model somewhat. I got my Cobra used and called them for part info. They ended up having GREAT customer service, shipped me the spare parts I needed for a very reasonable price, and I had them within 2 business days!

I ended up making my own spacers a little longer than stock so I can use them as bungee points. I don't recall the exact size but I went 1/2" longer than the standard cobra length.

Here is a parts list from the Cobra web site. The spacers are the last two pieces.

1 - Sissybar with Pad
2 - Left and Right Mounting Brackets
2 - 8mm x 35mm; 2 - 8mm x 45 mm Button Head Bolts
4 - 8mm x 20mm Button Head Bolts
2 - Long Spacers (.670”)
2 - Short Spacers (.305”)

If you have Kawasaki backrest K53020-377, I have spacers that are 3/4" in length. But the original bolts for that are M8 x 1.25 x 45mm.

It's been my experience with most of these companies is that if you call them and explain, they will send you some spacers for free.
