Hiding wires in handlebars?

G'day all, seen a few bikes with the wiring for the indicators, horn etc, running through the handlebars then out at the bottom near the tripple trees. Very clean look.

Is it a hard procedure to accomplish?

Cheers.

I believe you can do this with a set of HD handlebars. Some of their (upper end) models have the wires running inside the bars, so I imagine you can get a set of their bars and run the wires on your bike through the bars. I don't think the HD bars are any more expensive than any other handlebars.

"I don't think the HD bars are any more expensive than any other handlebars. " That would be a first!

Thanks Cruiserone, will give them a call on Monday. Was actually thinking about going with the Climax Hand Controls from www.customcyclecontrols.com/, but at $3k+ think it's a bit over an over kill for the 900.

The other idea was just to drill the holes in my stock bars, perhaps not the best, but easy enough.

BTW, hooked up with the Gold Coast Cruiser Club, having some good rides lately

Cheers.
