Ok let me restate, you turn on key with hand off throttle, wait for the fuel pump to cycle, press the starter key for 4 seconds, no start, stop, wait 4 seconds, starts and runs fine the rest of the day. Correct.
First thing comes to mind is dirty injectors, run a can of injector cleaner thru, next is bad or fouled plug, replace plugs. After that I am doing a shotgun guess(just start checking things hoping you find something, do's not work very often, but blind pigs do find food.
