side plate mount

got a 07 custom has anyone used this plate mount

if you have or know what size hold do i need them to drive for out vulcan 900

I have not used this but I wanted to give a word of caution. If you read lower on the e-bay page, it says that the picture is of a chromed version while the one for sale is brushed aluminum. With that said, I used brushed aluminum rail caps on a pickup truck I once owned and regreted it a year or so later when they started to turn really dull from oxidation. Aluminum won't rust, but it will oxidize leaving a dull greyish finish. The sun makes this even worse so if your bike is outside a lot, it will happen faster. The best material for most bikes is chrome. Second would be a good quality stainless steel like 316L.

going but a plat mount off of ebay anyone know what size bolt whole i need
