Thumbs up Debaffeled my ebay pipes today

I got a set of stock pipes off an 09 900 for 50 bux off ebay. I debaffeled them with only two holes. Sounds good. I think I will leave it there for now.

I'm going to save my stock pipes incase I need them for warranty issues etc.

That's the best way to go about it, modify it to your liking and leave it alone.

If you screw up, there's always more pipes on the Bay.

Good thinking, I did same thing. Pipes got here today.

Did you get exhaust gaskets for the install? I had to order them from dealer and they won't be here until next week.

No gaskets. Just bolted right up to the old ones.

If you are careful, and torque them down correctly, and they haven't had that procedure done to them too many times before, they will seal. I think my originals had 5 swaps before I had popping that I just KNEW where it was coming from.
But whenever I use a pair now, I get online and order a new pair, just in case.
