October 08 Bike of the Month Winner - DubsVulcan

This is my 2004 Vulcan 1500 Classic. It has 4,000 miles on it. Show Chrome Windshield, Mustang Seat, Saddleman Bags. Everything else is stock. I bought this bike about a month ago when I saw it in a local dealership. The instant I saw it, I saw my dad sitting on one of his bikes and couldn't get it out of my mind. A couple had consigned the bike to the dealership to sell. I instantly saw the love and affection they had given this bike and knew I had to have it. I was currently riding a GL1100 Gold Wing. I have since sold the Wing. Now, everytime I ride the Vulcan I can feel my father riding with me!

Thank you for the honor of having my bike selected for October bike of the month! Since this picture was taken I have installed Vance & Hines Bagger Pipes. Nice addition to a wonderful bike!

Thanks Rob! I was really fortunate to find my 1500. Kawasaki makes fine motorcycles. Having grown up in a Harley invironment, these bikes exceed the performance, reliability and ergonomics of any other bike. My Gold Wing was a pleasure to ride but I didn't like the position the pegs put my feet in and adding pegs to the crashbars placed my feet too far away from the controls, especially the brake, for me to be mentally comfortable. My 1500 gives me that comfort, both mentally and physically.
