Historic flooding in and around me this week.

Here's a pic taken from a few minutes from my house by a friend.

Priorities!

Seriously though, thoughts and prayers appreciated for us! Earlier this morning we 'beat' the record and are going up from there. 12 dead so far and numerous businesses and homes destroyed. Significant flooding all over the state. The town I live in happens to be a couple of miles from where two rivers converge, and that's a recipe for disaster! I'm not near the flooding; but I am 'trapped' here for a couple of days, as all of my routes in and out are blocked. My younger brother is coming home for Christmas and might not be able to make it in (He's in the Navy, stationed in Virginia) and my younger sister is likely going to be stranded at work and unable to make it home. Thankfully, my wife and I both work here in town so we're good. But it's gonna be a rough couple of days for a couple of people.

Damn and I wanted a Big Mac!

But really hope all works out for everyone!
We got 2-4" of snow out of that storm.
They sent out the "sky is falling" report of 6-12" that just didn't happen.

I hope things get much better for you guys very soon. At least the bike was saved from sure death, it must have been tricky loading and unloading it though.
