Question brake/clutch service

I would like to do my own brake/clutch and coolant fluid changes. Which mitivac model should I buy? Where can I get good instruction on these maintenance procedures?

I bought the cheaper one and it works fantastic. I didn't buy it here but same one.

A shop manual would walk you through it but I am sure you can find many articles online. What bike do you have?

Hey Jeff,

Thanks for the insight. I have a 2000 Vulcan Classic (1500 E). I have had very few maintenance problems since purchasing it with 2700 miles. I am one that tends to be a stickler on maintenance. With a $250 estimate on this bi-annual maintenance, I thought it was time to learn and do for myself. Actually, I think the more your know how to do basic maintenance, the more you become a better owner and rider.

Advice taken

Jeff,

Took your advice and bought the MityVac 7000. Waiting for my Clymer service manual to arrive. Wish me luck.
