No rain this weekend

For the past 7 weekends in a row it has rained here in the Western Mountains of NC. Finally this past weekend was dry and very comfortable.
I headed out Saturday morning and made the loop to Cherokee, Gatlinburg, Knoxville, Chattanooga, back thru Telico and took the Cherahala Hwy across the mountain. Hwy 28 (the moonshiner), to Franklin and 441 to home.
Sure glad I live in this part of the country, these mountains are beautiful.

We hooked up with some local CMA riders, stayed around Johnson City/Rogersville.

My wife and I married in Cleveland, she's from Johnson City, I'm from SW Mississippi, why don't you wander up this way and come ride with us? A free lunch is always part of the ride.

Would love to get up that way and ride with you guys, but it sure doesn't look like it's going to be this weekend. Rain & More rain.

It's a standing offer ! Keep in mind, though, we cruise so slowly, even bicycle racers pass us !

I guess that means I wouldn't want to ride this one!
