Vulcan rides for the next few sundays

Tryin to get some rides goin. Will be ridin this Sunday the 23rd. First meetin spot is the truck pull-off 1/4 mile north of I-75 on US 27, then second meeting spot is in South Bay around 8:15, then it's partially around the lake but heading over to Indiantown for b/fast at Cracker's café, prolly get there around 9:30 or so. Then back to the lake and some good routes I know.

So far we have 3 Vulcans, more is welcome. Just be at the above mentioned meet spots BEFORE the times and lets ride!!!

As more peeps are able to ride (not workin on Sundays etc.) I will list more rides and meet spots.

Feel free to call me at my shop for more info 954-455-9665.

THANX

We had 3 Vulcans on this ride, a Nomad, a Voyager and my Vaq. Seems like mother nature didn't quite get that this past Thursday was the start of SPRING...NOT summer. Temp in the mid 80's but out on the road felt like 90!
Was nice in the morn and the sun rising, that big orange ball was absolutely beautiful. I should have pulled over and took a pic.

Went partially round lake Okeechobee, over to Indiantown for b/fast, back over to the lake and then took some back roads that took us thru Venus and a road with a roller coaster section, if ur goin fast enuff you can feel your stomach floating around!

Mornin time, I admit I did wear a denim jacket as it was cool out in the Everglades area...

Stoppin for a pp break

Hangin in the shade in Moore Haven on the way back home...

Total miles for the day, tho the couple on the Voyager had to come from further south so I am sure they had over 400 mls...

Was a great ride and we got another planned for next Sunday prolly the River Road ride.

Sunday's ride was absolutely awesome. Jorge on his Voyager and I were on the road at 7am, stopping in Alva at the Alva Country Diner for b/fast, and a country diner with, uh, country folk is the truth!! Good folks hard to come by down here in South Fla. Geeze, a HUGE pancake (no way can I even eat their short stack, the cakes are 10" in diameter and 1/2" thick), lotsa perfectly cooked bacon (just the way I like it), potatoes, grits and coffee for $8.02.

We headed over to Punta Gorda for the 34th annual International Air Show, man I didn't know how huge this thing was!! Lotsa very cool planes, specially the WW2 stuff. Saw an awesome group flight of a B-25, A P-51, a F4U Corsair and a WW2 trainer that's name escapes me. This sent me chills. And an awesome display of sheer H.P. with the Air Forces Thunderbirds!!

Jorge and I got separated leavin the show and my ride home was solo on one of my favorite routes, River Road. I stopped at a park for a snack and a ,uh, nap!!

Saw the sun setting on my may home...

My mileage for the day....

I was getting close to another mileage milestone and was hopin to achieve it b4 getting home, but man was I so tired I figured it'll come on the next ride...

One thing I am happy to announce is that with the Corbin seat my ridin comfort level has improved dramatically but was still not perfect. Few weeks ago I found an ad in the back of a m/c mag for padded m/c underwear from Zone Performance and bought 2 pairs. Now I can sit on this Vaq and ride with no butt discomfort, I have a happy butt now!!

Was a great ride and a great long day...perfect.

Mu mpg meter is off due to the influence of the PCV on the ECU's calculations, I kinda doubt you are getting mpg that low. I found out the mpg meter was off by using a GPS to monitor mileage during a tank of gas and the gallons pumped back in.
