The Ultimate Maine Waterfalls Road Trip

Saw this today and think this will be one of my first rides this Summer.

Here is the Google Maps version...

The Ultimate Maine Waterfalls Road Trip Is Right Here Ė And Youíll Want To Do It

Maine is paradise for those who love the outdoors. From crashing ocean waves to sky-high mountains, weíve got an outdoor activity for just about everyone. But, to be fair, some of what we have to offer isnít for the beginner. Donít fancy yourself an Appalachian Trail hiker anytime soon? Thatís okay Ė feel free to ease into things! We recommend starting with some waterfall visits. Plentiful and impressive, Maine has over 100 significant waterfalls, which exist in just about every county from York to Aroostook.

Because a road trip with more than 100 stops is more of a lifestyle change than a fun jaunt, Iíve created a Western Maine focused trip that you can complete in about five hours of drive time. This will give you the rest of the day to hike, explore, stop for photos at the side of the road and (most importantly) replenish the snack supply at one of our local stores. Weíve even included stops for lunch and dinner at some great local spots.

Read rest of the story at the top link...got some great pictures.
I hope I have managed to keep this post within the guidelines?

My Stepson and I are making this our first trip this spring. We both love to fish and are thinking of making it an overnighter and camp out. I am also looking into getting a Camera to record my adventures and will be posting them here....just trying to decide which one to buy...right now the Tachyon Biker Kit looks really good at about Ĺ the price of the GoPro's.

It is not about the destination, but how you get there.

Screw Auger Falls sounds interesting. Say Small Falls 10 times real fast.
