Pirelli 150/80 on 1500 Drifter update

My buddy in Apache Junction switched from the Dunlop E3 160/80 rear to the more affordable Pirelli MT66 aka Route 66. He currently has 9500 miles on that rear tire, and expects to get 2000 to 3000 more miles out of it.

That's impressive in a hot climate just southeast of Phoenix, AZ. He has been diligent about keeping his psi at 38 front and 40 rear on a weekly to bi-weekly basis.

BTW, he's an assertive rider in the twisties. Meaning, he's a really, really good rider out on the winding backroads. None of his riding buddies on cruisers and HDs can keep up with him. I mention that because that makes his tire mileage look even more amazing. No, he can't keep up with sport bike pilots. Heh.
