Optional Tire Sizes?

I have a 1500 vulcan A and have the stock tires on it Front 100/90-19 and the rear 150/90-15" whats the widest tire I can go on it with my rims?

any suggestions?

Usually up 1-2 sizes in width is the limit, but you should also go down a size or 2 in the sidewall. the 1st number is width in mm, the 2nd is a ratio of the width to sidewall in percentage. The following link lets you compare different sizes. For the rear, a 170/80/15 would be about the limit I would think. You can take the difference and devide by 1/2 and make sure you have that much plus at least a 1/4" clearance at the tightest point, frame, chain guard or any other close point on your current tire.

I have been told you can go to a 110/90-19 on the front and that will also help in getting the speedo closer to being accurate
