Whats the recommended (1 rider) tire pressure for a 1995 vulcan 1500? Front and rear? Factory sizes.

Thanks!

On my bike I use Dunlp D404's sizes are
front, 130/90-16 rating 67H (speed and load) tire pressure 1 rider or 2 riders is 40lbs
rear, 150/80-16 rating 71H (again speed and weight) tire pressure is still 40lbs
...........
This is what the book calls for. This is just FYI.

You really need to kind of play with it to see what works for you. I wouldn't run below what the bike recommends (under the seat or in your manual) or above the sidewall pressure on the tire. Some run sidewall pressure as that may help the tires last a bit longer. Others stick to what 'the book' says. I run 38 front and rear on my bike. Works for me.

On a VN1500A with the 19" front wheel, the factory recommends 36 lbs front and 35 lbs rear or 40 lbs hiking...

As an add;

Tire pressure may need to be adjusted for different conditions; just like suspension.

The tire pressure that works for you riding around town solo may not work as well two-up on the highway loaded down with luggage! I always raise my tire pressure a bit when the bike is loaded down, seems to help keep the bike feeling and handling the same in either scenario.
