09 classic noise from front wheel bearing?

Lately I've noticed a slight growl/vibration coming from the front wheel as I'm slowing to a stop. I've made sure to not use the front brake on occasion to see if I can decide where it's coming from. I think I've decided it's the wheel bearing in the front wheel, didn't know how long a wheel bearing typically lasts, bike has 18k. How hard are they to replace? I would think its not terribly difficult to do
