130/90-16 on 95 Kawasaki Vulcan VN800A??

Wanting to switch my front tire on my '95 VN800A model from the stock 80/90-21 front tire to the wider classic model tire 130/90-16. Looks like the rear tires are both the same so I'll keep my rear but I like the wider tire look on both and was wondering if anyone has done this and if so, did it or will it cause any safety issues or anything? I also like it to be a clean swap with no welding or chopping required to fit but I don't even know if this is possible. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I would try a wide 130 tire between the forks first to make sure you have the space there to even put this much wider tire on the bike without rubbing or binding up anyplace. You may need to change out your triple trees for wider ones to do this conversion to have the required space for the wider tire.
