Suspension Rebuild

I am considering upgrading my suspension on my 07 1600 Mean Streak. eg changing my rear shocks and front fork springs. While I am at it changing the fork oil. I have about 48,000 miles.

My questions are, what advise could you give me? Should I do it myself or have a shop do the work. I am considering Progressive Components, any other reconditions?

Thanks Carl

Just in general, I would say that if you're comfortable or reasonably sure you can work through it on your own, you should do the work yourself rather than going to a shop.
