Rear brake pedal appears bent

PO stated that it's supposed to be like this, but I suspect it may have been dropped/tipped over in a parking lot prior to highway bars install, and bent the pedal lever in. You can see the metal cover to the fluid tank is indented too.

It doesn't interfere with functioning, but it is slightly too far into the bike to where I have to rotate my ankle a bit to hit the brake (not a natural motion) so it just makes using the back brakes a bit more awkward. Haven't had much luck finding replacement aftermarket options... any suggestions?

Thanks for the link. Would you agree it isn't how it's supposed to be?

Rear brake pedal appears bent

Based on the pics and diagrams it’s supposed to be set at a right angle; shouldn’t be angled inward and contacting the Footpeg bracket

It sure looks bent, I would try pulling on it to where you need it
