Oil screen on 2008 MS

I was changing the the oil on my 2008 Mean Streak a few days ago. I have the shop manual and it shows an oil screen drain plug in addition to the oil drain.

Looked and looked but saw nothing like that on mine. I'm wondering if there was a change made during production since as far as I can tell there is only one version of the book.

Nope. I have an 08 as well. It's there. Left side. Unscrew the cap (A).

OK thanks.

I saw that but it looks different in the book. Obviously I didn't clean it as instructed. Anyone have any thoughts on just leaving it until the next oil change or is it important enough to drain it again?

You should be fine until the next oil change.
