What are YOU doing during the winter months?

Here's what I've ordered for my 2006 Nomad, I plan on getting all of this done over the winter...

Brakes
-Front and rear pads
-CRC Disc Brake Quiet 05016
-CRC 5351 Brake Caliper Synthetic Grease
-Brake cleaner
-Prestone dot4 Brake fluid (flushing the lines)

SparkPlugs
-4 Autolite XS4164 Xtreme Sport Iridium Powersports Spark Plugs
-Permatex 80071 Anti-Seize Lubricant with Brush
-Lisle 67870 Spark Plug Gauge Gap

Oil
-Mobil 1 Racing 4T Advanced Synthetic 4 Cycle Motorcycle Oil, 10W-40
-K&N KN-204C Powersports High Performance Oil Filter
-Royal Purple 75w90 gear oil

Air
-K&N KA-1603 Kawasaki High Performance Replacement Air Filter

Fairing
-Batwing 6x9 Fairing (Aluminum mold) gelcoat Full Stereo (Philips CEM2100) (6x9 S2 speaker) Flat windshield, tint - 5"

Pipes
-Vance & Hines Bagger Duals Exhaust - Vulcan 1500/1600 Nomad

Tires
-New bridgestone exedra g721 front tire

Other
Fuel stabilizer
Fuel system cleaner (jets, system, buildup etc)...

Thinking of what else I might do...
-Cam chain tensioner extensions...
-Mustang solo seat... Ill probably wait for this $$$

Yeah, It's costing me a lot this winter, but it's an old bike with high mileage (115K km) and I dont know what the previous owner did or didnt do... I should be good for a few years after this.

With that many miles & being 10 years old, while you are doing a coolant flush, you may want to consider new coolant hoses. Remember, they deteriorate from the inside out.

Hi eg78

Every year the bike gets there just as promised...this year I'm driving down, can't do a trailer, so I just need to beat the trucker! Those truckers get it done!

With respect sir, you are an AZZ. Four, maybe five more months before I can fire the beast up for another too short Canadian riding season.

Cheers!

Mike

2008 VN1600 NOMAD. Only 2,400 miles when I bought it in June of 2015. Everything stock for now, mods to come including the Big Three.
