vulcan classic and vulcan nomad parts interchangable?

Does anyone know if nomad parts will bolt up to a classic? Im mainly wondering if the forks are the same as i had to order rh and lh fairing mainstays from kawasaki so i can bolt up a aftermarket fairing. I own a classic with a windshield fairing already on it but the new fairing brackets for the aftermarket batwing fairing dont line up and the instructions state i gotta have kawasaki part numbers 35063-0209 & 35063-0210. They say their brackets will bolt right up to those part#'s. Im unsure if the fairing i have is oem or aftermarket. Im hoping the the new brackets i ordered will fit my forks. The ebay store says the fairing i bought is compatible with a classic. This has just been bugging the crap out of me while i wait for the parts to come in.

Hi, just checked the Kawasaki parts house website and the large chrome section across the front of the forks which those brackets bolt to (or thru) is the same part number for a classic and a nomad (at least for 2006) so should fit fine.

Hope this helps

  • Mutazu MU hard bags
  • Memphis Shades 21" Fats (black gradient)
  • Fehling sissy bar (and rack)
  • Kawasaki OEM crash bars
  • Mustang Day tripper seat and homemade tank bib (to hide the rub mark)
