Just getting back to the swing of things here at the forum, found your thread.
I looked for grab bars for my V2K for a long while, the wife never really asked for them (maybe she never even knew such a thing existed) and the only one I had found was basically a round pipe bended in a way that served as a grab bar but it wasn't much to look at, it had proper attachment points for the fender bolt and for the sissy bar but what I really liked was the design of the Kawi Nomad back rest and grab bars, now those are absolutely great looking.
One day I was browsing trough e-bay looking for a pair of passenger floorboards for my brother's 1600 and I found a guy selling parts from his Nomad, it included the stock floorboards but he was also selling the rear seat, backrest and stock sissy bars that have grab rails integrated on them (I almost... almost bought a nomad instead of a V2K just 'cus I like that design so much) and I decided to buy'em thinking I would somehow adapt them to my Beast.
I was absolutely surprised to find out the holes matched exactly and it bolted right on, the widht of the seat is not the same as is not the width of the fender so attaching the backrest needed some doing, cutting a bit and welding a bit, but the result was just what I was looking for.
As soon as I get home I'll add some pix for you to see if this would work for you.
Pix loaded, first 3 are from when I did the mod, on the 3rd one you can see a black section on the backrest support where I had to cut a bit of the pipe so it would bend inward and the welded the cut. I put some black paint to cover the weld and it looks like it has a black tape on.
Last 2 pix are from the last trip, not super clear from far but you can see the Nomad grab rails right there.
