Clutch Issue

So today I was going thru a light and when I shifted into 2nd and the clutch just gave out. No warning, no previous slipping, no clutch issues whatsoever. I tried to shift into all gears with no clutch engagement. I did get a sound which sounds like two metal plates spinning and bumping each other. I have to admit that I was low on oil (which I intended to fill when I got home). The clutch cable is still intact and pulls on the shift arm. Am I looking at a new clutch and pressure plate or is it possibly an easier fix? If so, does anyone have a video link on how to repair the clutch assembly?
