Hard Bags for the V2K

Curious about hard bags, and don't much care for most of the model-specific bags. If I wind up using some sort of HD bags, any experience out there using/fabbing hard bag mounts for the 2000limited? I'm running Hard Krome big straights, whichmay have to change for any sort of extended bag.

Umm... one of our members put HD bags on his V2K. He documented the process.

do a search on it.

(also one who used nomad bags)

I had Tsukayu Jumbo Strong hard bags installed. Love 'em! Carry a whole lot more than the previous leather bags. Ordered the model specific bags to try to avoid much of the drilling/fitting stuff, but to no avail, really Good bags, though. The clearance 'tween them and my stock pipes is minimal, but have yet to detect any problems.

In the same vein...anyone used any of the extended fenders from baddad on their V2K? Curious if the 200mm harley fender would work, with minor modification
