V2k sparkplug alternatives

Hi guys I'm on a fishing expedition here.
Is anybody using a non iridium sparkplug in their v2k?
Our plugs NGK code is IZFR6f-11
I can get a NGK ZFR6f-11 the only difference is its not an iridium plug.
Is anyone using this plug with success?.

My reason is I live in South Africa and the iridium plug firstly is difficult to find without importing and the local guys want R700 per plug which is just over $100 for 2.
The non iridium variant is under $10 for 2

My 2k from 05 still has the first iridium plugs installed, 60.000km.
They are a pain to replace, if I do so I take iridiums again and forget the plugs for another decade...
