oil spray from push rod?

need some help guys. went to the rally last week in NW arkansas. and the ol girl ran great for the most part. but im spraying oil from what looks like the top of the case on the right side on the rear cylinder where the push rods run in. for a while i thought it was oil blowing out of my air filter but i had just cleaned the thing and i had no oil residue on it but the chrome around the shaft that runs up the side of the cylinder and my plastics/ pipes all are coated in oil spray as well as my pants. after i recover a bit from the trip in the next day or 2 ill get a photo or 2 to show exactly what it look like but to replace these seals and stuff is this going to need a engine pull? or is this something fairly simple? i haven't found too much info on it for our bikes. Thanks guys.
