I have the 16" delkevic slash cut, and I like it lot. I would have gone for the Danmoto but it was too much of a pain in the a** to get it in CA.

This will bolt up to the 2018 KVS without issues?

It will bolt up to any Vulcan S of any year. If you are in Europe you need to get the more expensive unit which includes the Catalytic converter which makes it Euro 4 compliant. If you are in the US you don't need it. But if you want to spend the money and are worried about the environment you are more than welcome to spend the extra money.
