I seem to remember mine is a 2018 Vulcan S Cafe, but it has been under wraps in the garage for too long this winter. The last couple of weeks have been brutal, longest cold snap in 21 years here.

I can't recommend any one place to ride as most of my rides are off the main roads so you get a lot of rural farm land, Dutchess has lots of small Dairy operations so Cow Country it is, with some hills and curves but not a lot of either but the county as a whole is fairly scenic. Western Dutchess south of 32 east of 9 north of 55 and west of RT 22 is a nice country ride. A ride up to Bash Bish Falls is nice in Columbia County. I live on the CT State line so I'm back and forth a lot. From Dutchess RT55 East to CT RT 7 north is a nice ride. A side trip through the Schagticoke Indian reservation from the covered bridge on RT 7 at Bulls Bridge north to the Kent school and back on 7 right to the Mass line then west along 41 in Great Barrington to Egremont to 32 west to Hillsdale then to the Rip Van Winkle Bridge and your back on your side of the river. If your inclined to a nice day trip to Mt Equinox in VT is cool. Bring a bagged lunch to eat up top and make sure your Brakes are up to the job of coming back down. I'll get a lot of complaints about this other ride I like a lot but a night ride through Times Square in NYC is up in the top ten. From your side of the River, I don't know exactly where you are though, Go south on the Palisades and take the GW Bridge to Henry hudson south to mid town after the night ride thru the square go to Chinatown or Little Italy for eats then Boogie back north on the HH Pkwy to the saw mill pkwy and over the Tappan Zee Bridge back to your home turf or if you like take the Taconic pkwy to the Bear Mtn Bridge back over the river. If it's Twistys you want then go to the Dragon. A friend of mine and I went to the Dragon through the Cherohala Skyway, late in the afternoon when shadows are long, from Tellico Plains over to Robbinsville where we overnited. The next morning we took the Dragon back west to Chilhowee and back to RT 40.

Excellent, just what I was looking for...thanks!!

I'm in Ramsey, NJ which is just below the NY border and Harriman State Park. The bulk of my riding is to the north and west of home so from the Hudson over to Port Jervis and up into the West Point, Washingtonville and Goshen areas. When I have the time for a longer ride I'll head up into the Catskills. And of course Harriman State Park has some really nice roads for rolling hills and twisties (Arden Valley) but all the best stuff is closed for the winter. The main north/south road (Seven Lakes Drive) is scenic but not got the rhythm or twisties of Kanawauke Rd. or Arden Valley.

I love the twisties but enjoy the rolling scenic roads nearly as much.

Thanks again @RoyVN900
