Well, if you are under 6 foot you should be fine on the Scout. And yes, it feels smaller to me than the S. It does have a lower seat height and no ergo fit so the if you have 33 inch inseam your will eat your knees and feel cramped on that thing. Sure, I like the looks but I don't want to spend that kind of money on a bike that I can't be comfortable on. Now the Indian Chief Darkhorse fits me just fine but it's also twice the price or more than the Scout.

@kevinb003 A local friend traded his KVS for a Scout Bobber. He let me take it for a short ride before he changed the seat (to a Corbin) and the handlebar (to the Indian Mini-Ape) and it feels extremely cramped by comparison to the KVS. I'm 6'0" and run an extended reach seat and stock bars on my KVS.

The foot controls are slightly back on the Scout while you're forced to lean over the tank to reach the bars. The seat change and the bar swap he did made huge improvements to comfort, and now sits very comparable to the KVS, just closer to the pavement and with your feet a little further back.

Wow, I never got to see (in person) or sit on the scout, but I was under the impression it was in the Vulcan 900 in size. Good to know.

Went to the Progressive International Motorcycle Show here in Dallas today...sat on a Dark Horse and fell in love. Also sat in the Scout, Scout Bobber and Scout 60 and get what you are saying about the Scout @IndyTom . The Dark Horse is legit, but pricey. Donít think I can talk the wife into it lol.
