Personally, I don't think it is worth it since the widest tire you could fit on there would only be 20mm wider at most. I doubt too many people would notice.

The tire he has on it is 18”- 240mm.
Had to mod the rear swing arm and front sprocket. I seen this on YouTube awhile back. Read through the comments and see if you can contact him for info. He may have more videos of the mod.

Again, looks isn't everything. Functionality is going to suffer. You just took away the most appealing factor what this bike is known for. Now you can Look Cool while going straight and slow down to a crawl while trying to make a turn. Plus that mod will cost you probably more than the bike. It would be literally cheaper to buy a bike that is already set up to take a wider tire.

 

That’s exactly what I think, but some people have money to burn. It’s up to them. I don’t think spending very much money on an already decent bike makes much sense. Just buy a bigger, better bike. Whatever you want is on the market now, really. I’ll spend $500-$600 on mine, but that’s where I draw the line. There’s a point of spending where I should have just bought a Vaquero instead, Lol:laugh2:

Me neither. I think I spent at least half the price of the bike on mods so far. But all of them enhanced the functionality, comfort and safety and not destroyed it. :wink2:
