Dripping sounds?

I bought a '08 custom 900 a few weeks ago with a little over 16,000 miles. I notice that after I ride for 20-30 minutes there is a dripping sound coming from the bike when I kill the engine? Any ideas on what this is and should I be concerned?

Dripping or ticking, the tick as they cool down, the more chrome, the more ticks I have found. The chrome heat shields in the pipes really sing after they get heated up.
