probably a dumb question.

i just bought a 2006 vulcan 750 for $500.the battery is dead and i dont know how to remove the seat to get to it.can anyone give me any detailed info on how to go about doing this or even if the battery is under the seat.i dont have the bike here at my house yet but i need to find a way to charge it up.any help is appreciated.thanks

remove the two bolts behind the locked storage area of the seat and lift off. also check out the vn 750 forum there are loads of good posts.
