Basically a cigarette liter receiver, now used in cars to power up 12 volt gadgets, like GPS, PHONE, LAPTOP, DVD PLAYERS, you get the "Point", many options from shiny and pricey, mine actually has a cigarette liter, did I mention I like shiny, to inexpensive and hidden, nope I likes shiny, Hey I like your list many of My installed options, yes it is an addiction, I will continue to add as I remember, you forgot Balance Beads inexpensive and work well, but a bear to put in a tube. Just remembered one of the most important, bought 5 years ago and still using, Battery Minder with installed Pig Tail. Has become a part of my life, keeps the battery fully charged and ready to go, also helps to extend the battery life, those suckers are really pricey. Yes I have been collecting for 5 years, many are able to change from one bike to the next not bike specific, unfortunately those are not the pricey ones.
One more, two actually, one installed and one contemplated. A great replacement for Pricey rear Tire. Car Tire (yes I know I will bust my Arse) but you will be hard pressed to find anyone on this site who will disagree, almost and accepted (mandatory) option for the Vulcan Stable as our rims are big enough to fit check it out. And the Hidden Trailer Hitch, made by one of our members.

Ok long enough. Try pm or this thread may get very long.

I have the car tire on there. I wasn't going to list the battery tender since that isn't really a mod for the bike itself. I edited my post earlier and added the balance beads.

Matt's Tranny Line Mod
for Vulcan 900 and others that suck oil into the air filter.

Remove air cleaner housing, and the crankcase vent tube. It goes from the airbox to one of the jugs.

Go to your local parts store and get about 3 feet (1 meter) of transmission line that's the same inside diameter as the stock unit.

Install tranny line, looping it up high (I have mine over some wires and stuff on the underside of the fuel tank, but NOT putting tension on said wires.), and down towards the airbox. Reinstall airbox assembly.

Since then I've had no oil getting into the air filter, or air box for that matter!

Is there a Gadget page for us 900 owners???

Vulcan 900 "oily air filter" fix

Get 3-4 feet of tranny line from parts store that's the same ID as the stock vent line. Attach to jug, route hose up to bottom of fuel tank around wires and back down to airbox, cut off excess (leave a little slack so wires are NOT under tension) and attach to airbox. Reinstall everything.

Free speedo fix, my post with info from another KAW site midway down the page:
http://www.vulcanforums.com/forums/s...dometer&page=3

I'm not paying $115 to fix a minor problem so a Speedo Healer is not in my future.

Also, a battery tender is a bad idea unless it's used for long term storage. The tender will mask any electrical or battery problems. I don't use a tender and here's a perfect example of why not: Last week I rode my bike to work with no problems. Tried to start next day and batt was dead (11.9V). Charged back to 12.9 (measured 1 hour after initial charge of 13.4V). Checked voltage after sitting overnight, 12.5V (not enough to start). Had I put the tender on the bike I would have stuck at work the next morning. If there's an electrical problem I'd rather find it in my garage than during a trip.
