Default Tire Pressure

I'm probably not as on top of checking the tire pressure as I should be. I've tried those valve stem caps that change color when the pressure drops, but I'm not real happy with them after I had one pop on me and let all the air out.

I've seen products that work wireless in conjunction with, say, a keychain to let you know what the tire pressure is.

Has anybody used anything like this?

I've used the one from Big Bike Parts for 3 years and better than 60,000 miles now (Tire Guard) and I do like it. The only problem I see with it is it shows about 2# less than what is actually in the tire. When you get the hang of this flaw, it's nice for peace of mind. I set the low range to 35# so if going down the road the pressure drops to that point the fob has an alarm and starts to vibrate. You can also look down and see the pressure and tire temp when ever you want.

Found these: http://www.bigbikeparts.com/Inventor...5A?catalogNo=1

I like the convenience of it. I'd be more prone to check the tire pressure every day before rolling into work.

For anyone following this thread, They've got these on Amazon or Ebay for about $ 150.
