Harley mufflers

So I got the bike with the Scorpion exhaust on it. A bit louder then I wanted. Got a set of mufflers off a Dyna & put them on. Easy swap. Just a couple reducers. I like the sound better. Not quite as loud & a lower pitch. Just some info for you guys.

Yeah on these bikes, dyna exhaust makes em sound pretty good compared to the scorpion. I have them on mine but am getting rid of them, I was still fairly pleased with them as we'll.

I really enjoy the sound of the Dyna mufflers on mine as well. Just loud enough versus stock.

I found a beautiful set of Dyna mufflers, put them on and did not like the sound, took them back off and running stock again. If anyone wants them I paid $85 for them, and have the adapters to bolt them to the smaller pipes of the 500. Let me know, Wallace in Georgia

Are they punched out through the middle? Mine had some sort of cap inside them, and it was punched out and it made a big difference soundwise. =)

No, mine are perfectly stock mufflers. They were just too loud for me. Wallacem in Ga

That's weird. Mine are stock & sound good. Way quieter then the scorpions, but I can still hear the bike running. All different flavors I guess.
