Spark plug wires??

The wires on my 1997 Classic 1500 D2 need replacing. The boots are dry rotting and a few splits on the cables. I've tried almost every site trying to locate them. I don't want to go to my local dealership unless I absolutely have too. Does anyone know where I can get some good looking, high quality wires for my bike?

Well, I called the dealership and apparently they don't make prefitted spark plug cables for my bike. You have to buy ignition coil and spark plug boots. Separately. The coil from the dealership is 90.00 for a few feet and the boots are 20.00 a piece. I found both on eBay for much cheaper.

Search for copper core spark plug wire and its sold by the foot. I found some 7mm coil for 2.00 a foot.

For the boots... Search for vulcan sparkplug boots or for your model bike. I found boots for mine for 4.49 each.
