2004 nomad 1500 fi - idle solenoid removal
i have cobra speedster long pipes, thunder mfg. aftermarket airbox, and a fuel management system. the idle solenoids were removed as per instructions to install the airbox backing plate and airbox. the vaccum line to the reed valves was plugged. now that the weather has cooled my cold start-up has consisted of a very rough idle - it would stall if i did not stay on the throttle. also i have excessive smoke from the pipes (running rich). this all occurs until the motor warms up then the idle smoothes out and i release the throttle. is there a way to remedy this situation, maybe my set-up needs an adjustment. any help would be appreciated.
